Job summary

The NorthC Group seeks a Cost Controller/Project Controller for its Frankfurt a. M. location. The role focuses on monitoring costs, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with project leaders and finance teams in a hybrid work setting. Fluency in German and English is required, with excellent stakeholder management. Prior experience in project cost control and ERP-enabled environments is essential to drive risk assessment and timely

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Cost Controller or Project Controller role.
• Experience within infrastructure development, construction, engineering, or other project-based environments strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting projects across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to identify financial risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, analysing, and explaining financial deviations.
• Preparing monthly reports, cost reports, forecasts, and progress overviews.
• Checking budgets, commitments, purchase orders, and project administration.
• Ensuring that financial and administrative processes are carried out on time and correctly.
• Advising project leaders and project management on cost developments and financial risks.
• Actively collaborating with project leaders, planners, and finance colleagues.
• Assisting with periodic closing processes and financial project meetings.
