The environment is structured and regulated with an Aerospace/Defence component, where governance, planning, and control are decisive levers for success. We are looking for people with a big‑picture vision, pragmatism, and the ability to manage complexity, collaborating with technical and managerial stakeholders in international, cross‑functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor timelines, costs, resources, and quality, engaging teams around clear objectives.
• Keep a close watch on projects through KPIs, milestones, risks, and opportunities, with proactive monitoring.
• Support decision‑making with structured analyses and reports, ensuring alignment between objectives and performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external), facilitating communication, prioritization, and compromise.
• Strengthen project and program management processes and tools, and support initiatives related to performance improvement, change management, and governance.
• In summary, you will lead initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle, bringing structure, momentum, and measurable results.

Technical Skills

• +5 years of experience in Project / Program / Operations Management.
• Experience and comfort working in aerospace, defense, industrial, or highly regulated environments are a significant plus.
• Analytical and structured approach, focused on results.
• Ownership & accountability: taking charge of and completing tasks.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complexity in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Planisware, Jira, Confluence, and the Google Workspace / MS Office suites.
• Knowledge of key methodologies (PMI, Prince2, Agile, Scrum) and the ability to select the most effective approach based on the context.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, Bachelor’s certificate, Master’s degree.
• Degree in Engineering/STEM, Economics, Management, Aerospace, or related fields.
• Good command of English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Contract Terms

• The specific terms of the contract will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the IG Metall collective bargaining agreement.
