A German University is seeking a qualified candidate for a Professorship in External Accounting. You will teach on Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes at Münster School of Business, focusing especially on external accounting.
In this field, you will develop practice-based courses and forms of teaching that are innovative in terms of specialist content and didactics.
We also expect you to publish the results of your application-oriented research on external accounting.
In your area of teaching and research, you will collaborate with companies, initiate and oversee externally funded projects, and accompany cooperative doctorates.
You will support the university’s internationalisation strategy, e.g. by overseeing and developing cooperative activities with partner universities abroad.
You will take on a variety of self-government roles, contributing to the university’s or school’s further strategic development.
Your expertise is founded upon a university degree in business and management, or an equivalent qualification. You have also obtained an above-average doctorate and gained initial research experience.
You have several years of wide and relevant professional experience in external accounting (HGB, IFRS), including corporate reporting.
You are familiar with the challenges currently facing external accounting (particularly with regard to digitalisation, AI and sustainability
You are willing and able to deliver courses in German and English.
Your profile is rounded off by interdisciplinary knowledge in the areas of controlling and finance.
