Furthermore, active participation in the development and implementation of new teaching concepts for the Faculty of Medicine’s degree programs is expected.

Employment requirements are completed university studies as well as teaching aptitude, a doctoral degree and further pertinent scientific achievements (§ 47 LHG).

The professorship is intended to support highly qualified early-career researchers at universities and is limited to a term of 6 years.

Applicants should demonstrate an independent research profile, evidenced by high-impact publications and the acquisition of external funding. The research focus should lie within the core research areas of the Faculty of Medicine: aging, neurosciences, oncology, and trauma. Candidates are expected to be willing to collaborate in research networks within the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Ulm, as well as to help shape new collaborative initiatives.
