Job summary

WITec GmbH in Ulm, Germany, is seeking a Production Technician for Microscope Production. You will assemble and adjust optoelectronic components and laser sources, and participate in the assembly of high-tech microscopes in Ulm.

The role requires technician training in mechatronics or electrical engineering, plus strong Office skills and German language proficiency with good English. German and English communication, precise work ethic, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed technician training in mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Basic knowledge in optics is an advantage.
• Precise and careful way of working is indispensable.
• Knowledge of the most common Office applications is a prerequisite.
• Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken) and good command of English.

Responsibilities

Production Technician (f/m/d) Microscope Production

Your Tasks

• Assembly and adjustment of optoelectronic components and laser sources
• Assembly of our high-tech microscopes in our production in Ulm
• Carrying out quality-relevant test measurements
• Commissioning of the devices and documentation of the system parameters

Your Qualifications

• Completed technician training in the fields of mechatronics or electrical engineering
• Basic knowledge in optics is an advantage
• A precise and very careful way of working is indispensable
• Knowledge of the most common Office applications is a prerequisite
• Very good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken, as well as a good command of English
