Job summary

Lear Corporation in Bremen, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, seeks a Production Manager to lead all production operations and drive performance in quality, delivery, productivity, and cost management.

You will coach and develop production teams, manage budgets, implement continuous improvement, and serve as the primary contact for customers, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a production environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Solid understanding of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

• Contribute as a key member of the plant leadership team and support the strategic development of the site.

• Manage budgets and cost centers while ensuring financial targets are met.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams, ensuring the required skills and competencies are maintained.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational standards.
