Conagra Brands is seeking a results-driven production improvement leader to ensure safety, quality and efficiency across the manufacturing unit. You will drive performance improvements, coach teams and lead autonomous maintenance and related programs to reduce losses and contamination.

You will build capabilities, engage employees, review performance data, and implement programs to meet safety, quality and productivity goals while complying with standards and policies.

• Identify opportunities to increase transformation process effectiveness and lead optimization
• Create, implement, audit and coach on performance improvement programs impacting daily results
• Lead and support detailed continuous improvement plans
• Lead technical improvement projects
• Review and improve using performance data to maintain safety and eliminate contamination
• Lead regular performance improvement meetings
• Act as facilitator for problem solving skills
• Support and lead development activities for autonomous maintenance and related programs
• Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety and productivity

In this role, you will have far reaching responsibilities, including the safety, quality, capability building and loss elimination of all aspects in your production unit. Position Responsibilities

• Identifying opportunities to increase the effectiveness of the transformation process and lead the optimization of these processes.

• Creating, implementing, auditing and coaching on performance improvement programs which impact the daily results and effectiveness of all employees.

• Leading and supporting the completion of detailed continuous improvement plans.

• Leading technical improvement projects.

• Reviewing and making improvements by using performance data such as effectiveness, line stops, quality defects, to maintain a safe environment and eliminate contamination sources.

• Leading regular performance improvement meetings

• Acting as a facilitator in regard to problem solving skills.

• Supporting and leading development activities for autonomous maintenance and other related continuous improvement programs.

• Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment.

• Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded.

qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years Manufacturing experience

• 3 – 5 years Management / Supervisory experience

• Food industry experience in a union environment preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or equivalent field of study

• Experience with SAP or other ERP system.

Compensation:

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
