Harvey Nash Group in the Stuttgart area seeks a Production Engineer (f/m/d) for an international semiconductor client. You will support NPIs, qualification activities, and work hands-on with PCB assemblies in an NPI environment.

You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, track progress in JIRA, and travel up to 10% as needed. The contract is fixed for 15 months with potential extension or takeover.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on PCB and hardware experience.
• Experience with testing, validation, or NPI of electronic products.
• Proficient with JIRA for task tracking.

• Independent, structured, reliable work approach.
• Effective communication with internal teams and suppliers.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.

For our client, an international provider for the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a Production Engineer (f/m/d) in Stuttgart area.

Tasks:

• Support the introduction and validation of new PCBs and electronic assemblies within an NPI environment.
• Plan, organize, and monitor qualification activities from initial testing through production release.
• Track tasks, issues, and project progress using JIRA.
• Carry out hands-on work with electronic hardware, including assembly, modification, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Run and assess hardware tests using established laboratory and test equipment.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical and production-related issues.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturing partners regarding testing, components, production readiness, and open issues.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to improving qualification and testing processes.
• Work in an international environment with occasional travel of up to 10%.

Profile:

• Degree or technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience working with PCBs, electronic assemblies, and complex hardware.
• Experience in testing, validation, qualification, or NPI of electronic products.
• Practical experience with JIRA for managing tasks and issues.
• Good knowledge of PCB technology and electronic manufacturing processes.

For this role the working contract is done through our agency and is fixed on 15 months with option to be extended or take over.
