Production Coordinator (m/f/d)

Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for a Production Coordinator (m/f/d) with a focus on stage manufacture. This is your opportunity to be hands-on with the challenging development of prototypes and time- and cost-critical test campaigns. Your Tasks
  • Work preparation and planning: You are responsible for the planning, coordination, and preparation of manufacturing plans for space components and systems. This includes organizing build schedules and coordinating production resources.
  • Technical documentation: Maintaining and recording adjustments to manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and bills of materials for space production.
  • Optimization of production processes: Identifying potential for improvement in production set-ups and processes, and implementing these efficiency-enhancing measures.
  • Coordination with various departments: Close collaboration with engineers, technicians, and production employees to ensure smooth production and compliance with quality standards.
  • Resource management: Oversight of stock items and acting personnel when kitting for the production technicians.
  • Quality control: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations for the space industry.
Your Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • High degree of reliability, a strong commitment to quality, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Training as a master craftsman/technician (m/f/d) or studies in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of practical knowledge in a manufacturing environment, working in sub-assembly kitting, work planning or preparation.
  • Experience in handling standard workshop tools and preparation agents. Knowledge of COSHH and work safety standards a benefit.
  • Strong English skills are essential as all day-to-day activities are completed in English.
  • General computer literacy is required, along with MS Office skills.
  • Experience with CAD is beneficial.
