Zusammenfassung

ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is seeking skilled technicians to join our cable harness assembly team in Germany. You will assemble and manufacture harnesses according to drawings, process wires, install components, and conduct inspections to ensure quality.

You will document results, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with Engineering, QA, Procurement, and Project Management to drive efficient production processes. German language proficiency and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Alternatively, technical vocational training in mechatronics, electronics, industrial mechanics, or automotive mechatronics.
• Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Good command of German; basic English is an advantage.
• Confident with Microsoft Office; ERP systems experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and manufacture cable harnesses according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Process wires and cables, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and marking.
• Install connectors, contacts, sleeves, heat shrink tubing, and other components.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical tests on finished assemblies.
• Document manufacturing activities, inspection results, and test outcomes per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and quality requirements throughout manufacturing.
• Identify and report deviations, defects, and non-conformities, and support resolutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficient production workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
