ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is seeking a skilled technician/engineer for cable harness production. Join a team focused on high-quality assembly, inspection, and documentation across multiple stages of manufacturing.

Candidate should have relevant technical education or degree, hands-on experience in cable harness or electronics assembly, and be proficient in German; basic English is a plus. The role offers permanent employment and potential for mobile/hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• Formal degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• Alternative: technical vocational training in mechatronics, electronics, industrial mechanics, automotive mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, cable harness production, or similar technical environment is welcome.
• German language skills; basic English skills are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and manufacture cable harnesses according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Process wires and cables: cutting, stripping, crimping, marking.
• Install connectors, contacts, sleeves, heat shrink tubing, and other components.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical tests on assemblies.
• Document manufacturing activities, inspection results, and test outcomes per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and quality requirements throughout manufacturing.
• Identify, report, and help resolve deviations, defects, and non-conformities.
• Contribute to process improvements and more efficient production workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
