  • Define and prioritize user stories, epics, and product features based on business value, user feedback, and insights from data analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations, analytics) to understand user needs and translate them into clear product requirements.
  • Analyze payment and transaction data to inform feature development, identify user pain points, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with design and frontend teams to craft intuitive UI/UX flows for dashboards, anomaly alerts, and reporting interfaces.
  • Map end-to-end user journeys for both internal users (e.g., analysts, ops teams) and external users (e.g., merchants), ensuring usability and clarity.
  • Use tools like Grafana, Tableau, or custom-built dashboards to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
  • Continuously monitor key payment metrics (e.g., success rates, chargebacks, processing latency) to define product KPIs and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity by working with engineers and analysts to define validation logic and edge-case handling.

  • Proven experience in the payments industry (e.g., acquiring, processing, PSPs, gateways, or financial operations), with a solid understanding of payment flows, chargebacks, success rates, and operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and manage product backlogs, write clear user stories, and prioritize features based on business impact and user feedback.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience working with transactional data, defining metrics, and drawing insights to guide product decisions.
  • Experience working with BI tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau, Metabase) and collaborating with analytics or data engineering teams on dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to work closely with UX/UI designers to shape user journeys, wireframes, and product interfaces for data-heavy applications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around a shared product vision.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and experience guiding iterative development cycles in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Hands-on experience working with real-world payment and transaction data.
  • Opportunity to learn directly from industry experts, including professionals with decades of experience in fintech and data engineering.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and analytics tools used in the payments industry.
  • Development of analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
  • Potential for a full-time role upon successful completion of the internship.
