Jobbeschreibung
  • The Product Owner is the role within a Scrum team who is responsible for the economic success of a product. Therefore, he/she is responsible for maximizing the value of the product to be developed and for the quality of the product. How this is done can vary greatly depending on the organization, Scrum team and individuals.
  • The Product Owner is the only person responsible for Product Backlog Management. He/she determines a list of requirements (the Product Backlog) that the development team should implement depending on the highest economic value.
  • Product Backlog Management includes:
    • Clearly formulating the product backlog entries.
    • Sorting the entries in the product backlog in such a way that goals and missions can be optimally achieved.
    • Optimizing the value of the work that the development team does.
    • Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent and clear to all and shows what the Scrum team will work on next; and
    • Ensure that the development team understands the product backlog entries to the required extent.
  • He/she is the interface to stakeholders such as the "end customer". He/she makes sure that they are always informed about the progress of the project. He/she therefore works very closely with "end customers" as well as with the development team.
Aufgaben
  • Acts as a contact person and integration for the customer journey. The product owner is always an individual person, not a committee. Although he/she can reflect the wishes of a committee in the product backlog, those who wish to change the priority of a product backlog entry must contact the product owner.
  • Responsible for orchestrating product visions/roadmaps. Defines, plans and steers multi-product scrum team delivery and ensures harmonization and leverages synergies.
Qualifikation
  • Above average education Work experience, comprehensive consulting experience of up to 4-6 years
  • Very good conceptional, professional and structuring competencies
  • Excellent command of German and English language in both written and spoken language as well as business fluent in local language if required
  • Relevant skill in product development
