Job summary

IGEL is seeking a Product Manager in Augsburg to plan and control software development and to expand the DaaS and cloud-based platform. The role interfaces with multiple departments and supports international technology partners.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in business informatics or equivalent IT experience, at least three years of product management, and fluent English communication. English language skills are essential for cross-border collaboration.

• Degree in business informatics or a comparable education or professional IT experience.
• Minimum of three years related experience in Product Management.
• Ability to work under general supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Knowledge in software development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control the development of software products.
• Expand the existing software platform for DaaS and cloud-based solutions.
• Provide support for existing international technology partners.
• Develop new, strategic technology partnerships in the end user computing environment.
• Be the internal interface for all departments for product-related topics and own the entire lifecycle of software products.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning and controlling the development of software products
• Expansion of the existing software platform for DaaS and cloud-based solutions
• Support for existing international technology partners
• Development of new, strategic technology partnerships in the end user computing environment
• Responsibility for the entire lifecycle of software products and being the internal interface for all departments for product-related topics

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding how the business of IT works and has a degree in business informatics, a comparable education or professional experience
• Minimum of three years related experience in Product Management
• Works under general supervision
• Latitude for independent judgment
• Moderate skills with high level of proficiency
• May consult with senior peers on general projects
• Knowledge in the field of software development
• Capturing complex interrelationships and developing content independently
