Omnivise T3000 is a control system in the energy market. As Siemens Energy’s flagship control solution, it plays a crucial role in driving the global energy transition. In your role as Product Manager Automation for the T3000 Control System, you’ll be a key member of a multinational team responsible for shaping the system’s future. You will define features that are not only desirable, viable, and feasible but also sustainable, ensuring they meet customer needs throughout the product life cycle. By gathering both qualitative and quantitative insights on market trends, user preferences, and customer requirements, you will inform both the business and technical strategies, ultimately guiding the creation of the feature backlog and the overall design of a control system built to support the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Serving as the Substation Automation Expert for the Omnivise T3000 control system, with collaboration within a multinational team
  • Demonstration of passion and ownership of all phases of the lifecycle of the Substation Automation related features
  • Playing an integral role within a distributed team of Product Management Experts, with provision of valuable insights and significant contribution to the Omnivise T3000 product
  • Close collaboration with the T3000 System Architect and agile teams for driving the Substation Automation aspects of the product
  • Active participation in sprint planning, sprint review, and team coordination meetings alongside Product Managers and Product Owners
What You Bring
  • University degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, computer science
  • Understanding of the energy market and the related implications for control systems
  • Proven expertise in substation automation and with SCADA systems
  • Track record in Product Management or associated fields
  • Proficient knowledge of the Product Lifecycle Management process incl. quality attributes (usability, security, safety, …), as well as regulatory and legal aspects
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a benefit
