Job summary

ZEISS Research Quality Solutions in Oberkochen is seeking a Product Manager (f/m/x) to drive development and market success of advanced microscopy solutions. You will translate customer needs into product requirements and shape the roadmap.

You will collaborate with R&D, Sales and Marketing to craft go-to-market strategies, position products, set pricing, and monitor performance to continuously improve features. English proficiency mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electron microscopy, e-beam instrumentation, or similar.
• Experience in product management, project management, or marketing for scientific/industrial instrumentation is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Actively drive the development and communication of product development projects with all stakeholders.

As Product Manager (f/m/x), you will drive the development and market success of innovative microscopy solutions by translating customer needs and market insights into product requirements, shaping product roadmaps, and collaborating closely with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to bring customer-focused solutions to market.

Your Role

• Actively drive the development and communication of product development projects in close collaboration with all stakeholders
• Contribute to the product development roadmap by conducting market research to identify customer needs and resulting product requirements
• Work closely with R&D teams to ensure that product development is aligned with customer needs and validate new product features personally
• Develop go-to-market strategies together with our sales and marketing colleagues, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product features and functionality

Your Profile

• University degree in natural sciences, material sciences, or similar - PhD in similar field advantageous, Ideally, background in the semiconductor industry (any touchpoints would also be favorable)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electron microscopy, e-beam instrumentation, or similar Experience in product management, project management, marketing for scientific or industrial instrumentation is advantageous
• Outstanding communication and mediation skills & self-driven mindset with the ambition to make a difference
• Highly analytical approach to structuring complex problems and ability to quickly create trust and build a strong network within various departments
• Exceptional work ethic and commitment to deliver results
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory for this position
