Job summary

ZEISS Research Quality Solutions in Deutschland sucht einen Produktmanager (m/w/x) für Mikroskopie-Lösungen. Sie übersetzen Kundenbedürfnisse in Produktanforderungen, gestalten Roadmaps und arbeiten eng mit F&E, Vertrieb und Marketing zusammen, um kundenzentrierte Lösungen auf den Markt zu bringen.

Sie bringen einen naturwissenschaftlichen Abschluss, idealerweise einen PhD, sowie mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in Elektronenmikroskopie oder ähnlichen Bereichen mit.

Qualifications

• Universitätsabschluss in Naturwissenschaften; ein PhD ist von Vorteil.
• Drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in Elektronenmikroskopie oder E-Beam-Instrumentierung.
• Erfahrung im Produktmanagement oder Marketing für wissenschaftliche Geräte ist vorteilhaft.

Responsibilities

• Aktive Entwicklung und Kommunikation von Produktprojekten mit Stakeholdern.
• Zur Produktentwicklungs-Roadmap beitragen durch Marktforschung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit F&E-Teams sicherstellen, dass Entwicklungen Kundenbedürfnissen entsprechen.
• Go-to-Market-Strategien mit Vertrieb und Marketing entwickeln, inkl. Positionierung, Preisbildung und Promotion.
• Produktleistung und Kundenfeedback überwachen, um Merkmale zu verbessern.

ZEISS Research Quality Solutions - Innovation down to the smallest detail

ZEISS Research Quality Solutions is driving forward multidimensional metrology. With over 100 years of tradition, we develop high-precision multi-sensor measuring instruments, microscopy systems, 3D X-ray technology and high-performance analysis software. We have a global presence (Oberkochen, USA, China, India) - backed by a strong service network. Our solutions enable the rapid development of new measurement concepts and the optimisation of complex quality processes in electromobility, aviation, medical technology, additive manufacturing and the plastics industry.

As Product Manager (f/m/x), you will drive the development and market success of innovative microscopy solutions by translating customer needs and market insights into product requirements, shaping product roadmaps, and collaborating closely with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to bring customer-focused solutions to market.

Your Role

• Actively drive the development and communication of product development projects in close collaboration with all stakeholders
• Contribute to the product development roadmap by conducting market research to identify customer needs and resulting product requirements
• Work closely with R&D teams to ensure that product development is aligned with customer needs and validate new product features personally
• Develop go-to-market strategies together with our sales and marketing colleagues, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product features and functionality

Profil

Your Profile

• University degree in natural sciences, material sciences, or similar - PhD in similar field advantageous, Ideally, background in the semiconductor industry (any touchpoints would also be favorable)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electron microscopy, e-beam instrumentation, or similar Experience in product management, project management, marketing for scientific or industrial instrumentation is advantageous
• Outstanding communication and mediation skills & self-driven mindset with the ambition to make a difference
• Highly analytical approach to structuring complex problems and ability to quickly create trust and build a strong network within various departments
• Exceptional work ethic and commitment to deliver results
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory for this position
