Product Manager

As aProduct Manager at Ontex, you will take ownership of product-related management and coordination for German and international customers across diverse sales channels and markets. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and execution of innovation strategies, assortment recommendations, product updates, and new product launches.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams such as R&D, Procurement, Key Account Management, and external partners.
  • Aligning commercial activities with the technical capabilities of the Ontex Group.
  • Managing cross-functional interfaces and driving strategic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Planning and monitoring key performance indicators within the Sales & Marketing budget.
  • Developing and approving packaging materials.
  • Conducting and analyzing market research, consumer panels, and laboratory tests.
  • Performing quality assessments and preparing regular reports.
  • Continuously analyzing market trends and competitor activities.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and delivering product training sessions.
Your Profile
  • University degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, ideally within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a proactive mindset.
  • Independent, team-oriented, and analytical working style with strategic thinking.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office and presentation tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
