About you – The Role

We are looking for a Product Innovation Engineer to join our Product Development and Innovation Department in Luxembourg under a permanent contract (CDI). Reporting directly to the CIO, you will play a key role in developing innovative products, supporting technical and scientific activities, and contributing to the success of MDSS’s cutting‑edge portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Development

• Collaborate with laboratories to support the development and validation of new products.
• Analyse product formulas and coordinate testing phases.
• Present new product concepts to internal teams, including sales and marketing.
• Contribute to the creation of scientific documents to support other departments.

Technical and Scientific Support

• Develop technical materials such as presentations and argumentation documents.
• Respond to customer and distributor queries with technical and scientific expertise.
• Validate technical and scientific data used in communication materials.

Intern Supervision

• Assist in the recruitment and mentoring of interns.
• Provide daily support on assigned projects to ensure smooth progress and learning outcomes.

Market Analysis and Innovation

• Summarise publications, market trends, and industry innovations to guide development initiatives.
• Propose creative and innovative ideas to enhance current products or develop new ones.

Desired Profile

• 5 years' experience, preferably in medical devices in the aesthetic medicine sector.
• A master’s degree in engineering or product development.
• Knowledge of cosmetic formulation and regulatory processes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in French is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and problem‑solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Monday.com is an advantage.
