About The Role

As a Product Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define and improve the end-to-end customer experience within your domain. You will use research, data, and user feedback to design solutions that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong domain understanding of map, route, and navigation experiences, including route quality, charging‑aware navigation, rerouting behaviour, and the real‑world constraints that shape EV driver journeys.
  • Strong understanding of the EV charging domain, including user needs, ecosystem actors, charging flows, and the operational constraints that shape product experience.
  • Define and evolve the user experience for digital products within your assigned domain.
  • Translate product goals and user needs into clear, intuitive, and effective experiences.
  • Conduct user research and analyse qualitative and quantitative insights to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Create user journeys, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other design artifacts.
  • Plan and facilitate usability testing and other validation activities to ensure design quality.
  • Identify usability issues, recommend improvements, and validate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
  • Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Deliver production‑ready specifications, assets, and prototypes to support implementation.
  • Contribute to a user‑centred product vision and continuously improve the customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience designing platform‑, service‑, and ecosystem‑based products that include complex flows across vehicle, app, backend, partner systems, consent, and operational edge cases.
  • Strong domain understanding of map, route, and navigation experiences and the EV charging domain.
  • Relevant degree in Interaction Design, UX Design, Service Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Digital Design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design for digital products and services.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional product teams alongside Product Management and Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of user‑centred design methodologies and research techniques.
  • Ability to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding how technical constraints and business objectives influence design decisions.
Success in This Role

The Product Designer helps the team make better product decisions by turning research and evidence into clear, actionable design direction. You are naturally curious, empathetic, and driven by understanding real user needs. You make decisions based on evidence and insight, challenge assumptions, and advocate for solutions that create meaningful long‑term value. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams to deliver outstanding product experiences.
