AKQA, located in Berlin, seeks an experienced designer to join its digital design team. You will contribute to strategy, conception and the execution of beautiful ideas, products and services.

The role demands collaboration across UX, strategy and the product design group to deliver high-quality work from brief to end user. With 4+ years in digital design and expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools, you will mentor junior designers and stay ahead of design and technology

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years within a dedicated digital design role.
• Strong experience across Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (Principle, Framer, Protopie or similar).
• Proficient in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of motion design is desirable but not essential.
• Conceptual thinking is a plus.

• Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner.

As an AKQA Designer, you will play an essential role in the strategy, conception and design of beautiful ideas, products and services. You will bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.

Located in Berlin, Germany, as part of the AKQA team, you will work in an environment that fosters a dynamic and meritocratic culture, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields.

Role Requirements

• Design effective, innovative solutions across digital touchpoints, including websites, apps, and interfaces, with strong interaction and communication design craft.

• Collaborate closely with UX, strategy, and the wider product design team as a core member of the group.


• Share knowledge across Experience Design and AKQA, and mentor mid-level and junior designers.


• Stay current on design and technology trends, and bring new thinking into your work.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

• 4+ years within a dedicated digital design role.


• Proven track record of designing beautiful, intuitive digital products


• Strong experience across Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools ( Principle, Framer, Protopie or similar).


• Proficient in user-centred design methodologies and design thinking


• Strong communication skills.


• Knowledge of motion design is desirable but not essential.


• Conceptual thinking is a plus.
