Discover International is seeking an experienced procurement professional to build and lead the procurement function within a growing biopharmaceutical organisation. The role combines hands-on purchasing, supplier management, team leadership and process development.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, manage supplier relations, drive negotiations, implement ERP systems and collaborate across functions to shape a future procurement organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of operational procurement experience within an industrial environment.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, medtech, chemicals or food is advantageous.
• Previous team leadership, coordination or project management experience.
• Strong commercial understanding, including supplier management, RFQs and negotiations.
• ERP experience and exposure to CAPEX or project procurement are advantageous.
• Hands-on, structured approach with the ability to establish processes within a growing organisation.
• Fluent German and good working English.

Aufgaben

• Monitor orders, deliveries and supplier performance, resolving commercial and operational issues.

• Establish effective procurement processes, procedures and performance measures.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of ERP and digital procurement systems.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Engineering, Logistics and Finance.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the future procurement organisation.
