  • Experience managing subcontracting processes.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience creating and entering purchase orders through SAP.
  • Strong experience supporting high-volume transactional purchasing environments.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities utilizing SAP.
  • Create, maintain, and track purchase orders in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Execute subcontracting activities, including material planning, supplier coordination, and order management.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, planners, suppliers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Identify and resolve purchasing, inventory, and supply-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address concerns related to delivery, quality, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and established workflows.
  • Support procurement reporting, data analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement team members as needed.

Procurement Specialist

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support procurement and subcontracting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, executing subcontracting processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted supply to manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience, experience in procurement and supply chain management, and the ability to drive process improvements while managing high-volume purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities utilizing SAP.
  • Create, maintain, and track purchase orders in support of manufacturing operations.
  • Execute subcontracting activities, including material planning, supplier coordination, and order management.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, planners, suppliers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or serving as a procurement subject matter expert.
  • Experience with process optimization, Lean initiatives, or continuous improvement projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
