JSS in Düsseldorf is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead Construction/Engineering and Maintenance spend across warehousing infrastructure and operations.

Reporting to the European Procurement team, you will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships and negotiate high-value commercial agreements to deliver measurable savings.

Indirect Procurement Manager - Construction/Engineering/Maintenance

A technology and logistics business is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead procurement activity across its Construction/Engineering category as it continues to expand its European operations.

You'll be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships and delivering commercial value across warehousing infrastructure and operational services.

The Role

Reporting into the European Procurement team, you'll take ownership of procurement activity across the Construction/Engineering category, along with other indirect categories partnering with operations teams to support the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading strategic sourcing projects across Construction & Engineering spend.
• Developing category strategies that support operational growth while delivering cost efficiencies and service improvements.
• Managing supplier selection, tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract management.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded procurement professional with experience managing warehousing, storage or logistics-related categories within a complex, fast-paced organisation.

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' procurement experience, with strong exposure to Construction/Engineering spend
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing exercises and negotiate high-value commercial agreements.
• Strong supplier relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering measurable savings and value.
• Experience operating within logistics, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing or distribution environments would be highly advantageous.
• The ability to work effectively within an international, matrix organisation.
