Dana Incorporated is seeking an experienced Indirect & Capex Purchasing leader in Germany to coordinate non-production SCM activities and manage regional spend for Capex and Indirect categories.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive cost reductions, optimize supplier bases, and ensure contract performance while delivering timely reports and meeting financial targets. The role requires travel across Europe and fluency in German and English.

• Deliver continuous improvement in cost, process and services within the commodity categories.
• Manage RFQ, negotiations, supplier selection and development processes.
• Responsible for contract performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of non-production supply chain management activities for Dana in Germany.
• Directs the activities associated with the SCMG managed regional spend for designated commodity categories (Capex & Indirect)
• Realization of quality-, process- and financial targets
• Responsible for identification and evaluation of European and Plant opportunities within the commodity categories managed for reduction of spend, consolidation of supply base, function and continuity of supply.
• Assembling and managing cross-functional teams to gather data, benchmark, develop and implement non-production synergy opportunities.
• Deliver continuous improvement in cost, process and services within the commodity categories.
• Manage requests for quotation, negotiations, selection and supplier development processes.
• Responsible for contract performance.
• Timely reporting (activity status reports, financial results etc.) within the

• Advising plants on market trends, risks and opportunities

• Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Agreeing Contracts Develops specifications and manages wide range of structured tendering/bid processes. Demonstrates how to construct/manage complex contracts, performance indicators and service levels.
