Job summary

Nexperia is seeking a Process Engineer Lithography to ensure stable, capable lithography processes within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will drive improvements, analyze data, and support new technology introductions while collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and development teams.

You will work on process capability, productivity, quality, and cost performance through experiments, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• University degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microsystems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• First professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a comparable high-tech production environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of lithography processes and semiconductor manufacturing technologies is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured, systematic working approach.
• Good German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable, capable, and reproducible lithography processes in daily semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and improve process performance using SPC, process capability indicators, and manufacturing data analysis.
• Investigate process deviations, non-conforming lots, and yield excursions and drive sustainable corrective actions.
• Identify process-related quality issues and support continuous yield and defect reduction initiatives.
• Support root-cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5Why and 8D.
• Define, execute, analyze, and document experiments to improve process capability, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
• Support qualification, release, and implementation of new processes, materials, and equipment.
• Contribute to process change management, industrialization projects, and technology transfers into production.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, OCAPs, specifications, and training materials.
• Conduct technical training and knowledge sharing for production teams.
• Participate in FMEA activities and support risk assessment and mitigation measures.

This is you
