Job summary

Randstad is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer in Stolberg to drive efficient manufacturing through optimization of technical processes and ongoing improvements in disposables production. You will support series production for medical technology assemblies, manage CAPA activities, create work instructions, train production staff, and ensure machine availability while maintaining ERP master data.

Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in production engineering, mechanical engineering (manufacturing technology), plastics engineering, medical technology or a comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a process engineer or project engineer in a regulated environment.
• Experience in optimizing production processes (CIP, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Knowledge of industrial engineering and cleanroom manufacturing.
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented work style as well as assertiveness.
• Confident use of MS Office applications.
• Fluent German skills, both written and spoken (for documentation and employee training).
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Support the series production of assemblies for medical technology, with a focus on disposables.
• Handle CAPA/non-conformity actions and document error analyses and resolutions.
• Create and maintain work instructions and train production personnel.
• Continuously improve production processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead optimization projects and support qualification/validation of processes.
• Ensure machine availability and maintain production facilities.
• Collaborate across sites and support the production infrastructure.
• Maintain technical master data in the ERP system.

We are looking for a dedicated Process Engineer for our business partner in Stolberg who will drive our production forward as a key idea generator. Your responsibilities will include: supporting the series production of assemblies for medical technology, with a focus on disposables; handling corrective and preventive actions (CAPA/non-conformity) for quality issues, including error analysis, resolution, and documentation; creating and maintaining work instructions and training production personnel; continuously improving production processes in terms of efficiency and effectiveness; leading optimization projects and supporting the qualification and validation of new and existing production processes; ensuring machine availability and maintaining production facilities; cross-site collaboration and support of the production infrastructure; and maintaining technical master data in the ERP system.
