Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Group seeks a scientist with a natural science degree to join the interdisciplinary development team for next-generation photomask systems. You will work conceptually and in the laboratory (clean room), planning, coordinating and carrying out development activities independently.

You will analyze requirements across product lines and derive development concepts and their technological advancement, while collaborating with Manufacturing and Development to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifikationen

  • A successfully completed university degree in a natural science field.
  • Practical experience in manufacturing, cleaning, and cleanliness qualification, ideally with prior responsibility for cleanrooms.
  • Fundamental knowledge in aqueous and physical cleaning processes, vacuum technology, particle measurement, chemical analysis methods, statistical design of experiments and analysis.
  • Process optimization (e.g., Six Sigma) and root-cause analysis (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
  • Strong teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative.
  • Independent, goal-oriented, and structured way of working with a high degree of innovation.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

  • Qualification, evaluation, and ramp-up/series transfer of new cleaning processes in semiconductor manufacturing, focused on cleanliness within the process chain in gray- and cleanrooms.
  • Work package responsibility / module responsibility in the area of cleanliness/cleaning in development.
  • Definition of lifecycle requirements regarding cleanliness in product development.
  • Definition of development measures and active risk management in the project.
  • Analysis of the process chain to implement improvements in terms of quality, process stability, and cost.
  • Elimination of acute process disturbances.
  • Introduction of new operating and auxiliary materials in coordination with development.
  • Definition and execution of visual and quantitative surface analyses for contamination determination and root-cause analysis in close collaboration with Manufacturing and Development.
