Thorlabs Germany seeks a Process Automation Specialist to identify, design, implement, and optimize automation solutions improving efficiency across operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable workflows while ensuring security and compliance. This fixed-term role is two years and offers opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in business process automation and digital transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, UiPath, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of process analysis, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, VBA, SQL).
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, databases, web services, and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Very good English language skills; German is an advantage.

This position is limited to a fixed term of two years.
