Jobbeschreibung

As an Investment Associate in Private Equity, you will play a central role in the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across diverse industries. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will contribute to the entire deal lifecycle—from sourcing and due diligence to financial modeling, transaction structuring, and portfolio value creation. Your analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and financial acumen will support the team’s mission to generate superior returns through disciplined investing and active portfolio management.

In this position, you will conduct detailed financial and operational analyses of target companies, including reviewing business models, assessing market dynamics, and identifying key value drivers. You will build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment scenarios, returns, and sensitivities. Through close collaboration with management teams and advisors, you will participate in due diligence processes, including financial, legal, and commercial assessments, ensuring each potential investment meets the firm’s strategic and risk criteria.

Beyond deal execution, you will support portfolio management by monitoring company performance, analyzing financial statements, and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance value creation. This includes preparing performance updates, identifying operational improvements, and assisting in exit planning and execution. You will also contribute to fundraising efforts by preparing investment memoranda, market research reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

A Private Equity Associate must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong business judgment, and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-performance environment. You will be expected to think critically, communicate persuasively, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in every aspect of your work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, private equity investment principles, and valuation methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, transaction analysis, and due diligence processes.
  • Solid grasp of M&A structuring, capital markets, and leveraged buyout (LBO) modeling.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial and market data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing high-quality investment materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial databases or research tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability, ethics, and commitment to professional excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep interest in long‑term value creation.
  • This role is ideal for individuals passionate about private equity investing, who possess strong financial insight, strategic perspective, and the drive to contribute meaningfully to investment success and portfolio growth.
