Inverto GmbH, a leading procurement and supply chain management consultancy, invites an experienced Senior SCM expert to join our team in Germany. You will shape our SCM offering and lead major transformations for senior clients.

You will develop market-leading methodologies, advise C-level executives, and build trusted relationships while driving growth across Inverto and the BCG ecosystem. Fluency in German and English is essential.

HOW YOU'LL IMPACT.

Shape our Supply Chain Management offering.

You’ll play a leading role in shaping how Inverto addresses some of our clients’ most complex supply chain challenges. Bringing deep expertise in one or more SCM domains, you’ll help define our perspectives, solutions, and go-to-market approach – translating your expertise into measurable client impact and distinctive offerings for Inverto.

Lead our most complex SCM engagements.

You’ll act as a senior expert and trusted advisor to C-level executives, helping clients rethink and transform their supply chains from strategy through implementation. You’ll provide expert leadership on major SCM transformations, challenge established thinking, and ensure that ambitious transformation agendas translate into sustainable operational and financial results.

Drive business development and senior client relationships.

You’ll build and deepen relationships with senior decision-makers, identify emerging client priorities, and turn them into compelling opportunities for Inverto. You’ll lead and shape major pursuits, contribute to strategic negotiations, and work closely with colleagues across Inverto and BCG to originate and grow our Supply Chain Management business.

Build distinctive expertise and market-leading offerings.

You’ll play a leading role in developing our Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence. You’ll shape methodologies, intellectual property, tools, and thought leadership, identify emerging SCM innovations, and translate them into scalable client offerings. You’ll also help build strategic relationships across the BCG ecosystem and with relevant technology and market partners.

Lead through expertise and influence.

In the Expert Consulting Track, your impact comes from the depth, relevance, and market credibility of your expertise. You’ll be a recognized point of reference for clients and colleagues, represent our SCM capabilities internally and externally, and actively develop the next generation of SCM experts. Through your expertise, commercial leadership, and mentorship, you’ll help shape the continued growth of our SCM business.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING.

University degree with strong academic results (Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, PhD, or equivalent).

10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management, including substantial consulting experience, with a strong track record of leading complex transformations and advising senior and C-level decision-makers.

You bring deep expertise in one or more core SCM domains, such as S&OP / integrated business planning, demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, logistics and network design, supply chain resilience, digital supply chain, or end-to-end supply chain transformation.

You combine strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset, building trusted senior client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and shaping compelling client propositions.

You’re passionate about advancing SCM expertise beyond individual projects – developing methodologies, thought leadership, and new solutions while sharing your knowledge and developing others.

Business fluency in both German and English.
