Zusammenfassung

HIMA Group is seeking a PCB design engineer to create and verify complex, multilayer PCBs for safety-related automation. You will ensure EMC compliance for prototypes and production, build and verify library components, and integrate development requirements across teams.

The role requires strong CAD skills (Cadence/Cadence Allegro), deep knowledge of EMC and signal integrity, and German/English proficiency. Global collaboration and sustainable safety technology are central to this position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification.
• Solid knowledge of EMC, signal integrity, and high-speed memory interfacing.
• Experience in PCB design and knowledge of CAD tools (Cadence or Cadence Allegro).
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Creation and verification of complex, multilayer PCB designs that comply with EMC standards for prototypes and series-production products.
• Creation and verification of library components for PCB design.
• Creation, analysis, and integration of requirements from development, test preparation, and manufacturing, taking into account applicable standards and guidelines.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for our products.
• Close collaboration throughout the development process with internal departments such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Testing, as well as external partners including suppliers, manufacturers, certification bodies, and EMC laboratories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in PCB design and knowledge of CAD tools, preferably Cadence or Cadence Allegro.
• Solid knowledge of circuit design and hardware design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EMC, signal integrity, and high-speed memory interfacing, as well as knowledge of standards (e.g., EN 61131-2, IPC guidelines) and their application.
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken German and English skills.
