Job summary

BIRKENSTOCK is seeking a socially adept student to support global social media activities in Köln. This internship involves managing calendars, creating copy, and aiding pre/post-campaign tasks within a fast-growing, international brand.

You will work on monitoring channels, analyzing trends, and supporting the reporting process. Fluency in English and a proactive, creative mindset are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ongoing bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or related field.
• Social media native and comfortable with platforms like Instagram/YouTube/TikTok.
• Initial experience in social media content creation and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Global Social Media calendar and scheduling.
• Assist with pre- and post-processing of campaigns.
• Monitor social media channels, metrics and trends across platforms.
• Support creation and analysis of social media campaign reports.
• Create social-first concepts including ideation and copy.

• Global Social Media calendar management
• Pre- and post-processing of different campaigns
• Monitor social media channels, metrics and trends (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
• Support on creating and analyze social media campaign reports
• Create social first concepts (Ideation, Copy)

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• Ongoing bachelor's or master's degree, e.g. in marketing, communications or related fields.
• Social Media Native
• Initial experience in the area of social media and content
• Creative, independent and keen to contribute your own ideas
• Organizational and graphic talent as well as a good feeling for design and visual language
• You speak English
• Structured and result-oriented, combined with a hands-on mindset
