Qualifikationen

• Professional Social Work Qualification is required.
• Current registration with the relevant Professional Body is mandatory.
• Extensive statutory Social Work experience in assessment and care planning.
• Experience with learning disability work including profound/multiple disabilities.
• Experience in partnership working with other agencies.
• Supervisory experience (mentoring, practice teaching).
• Experience managing Adult/Child Safeguarding cases and knowledge of legislation.
• Experience in service quality monitoring.
• Experience applying a strength-based approach in daily work.

Description: You work in the Learning Disability team based at Hen Goleg in Barry. We operate hybrid working allowing you to work from home and in the office. Concrete arrangements will be agreed between you and your supervisor. You will be responsible for the professional oversight of a team of Social Workers, Support Planners, and Reviewing/Social Care Officers who are responsible for the commissioning of care and support to people with learning disabilities and their families. You will need: . Appropriate Professional Social Work Qualification

• Current Registration with relevant Professional Body
• Extensive statutory Social Work experience, working in a multidisciplinary Assessment and Care Planning environment.
• Experience of working with people with a learning disability including those with a profound and multiple learning disability
• Experience of working in partnership with other Agencies
• Supervisory experience (e.g. mentoring, practice teaching)
• Experience of managing Adult/Child Safeguarding cases and Knowledge of legislation and guidance.
• Experience of service quality monitoring.
• Experience of applying a strength-based approach in your daily work.
