The position will be based in Frankfurt am Main, at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Goethe University. The position is limited to 2 years. Appointment, remuneration, and social benefits are based on the public-sector collective agreement (TV-G-U).
We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in the field of assay development, drug discovery, and characterization within the Cluster4Future PROXIDRUGS (https://proxidrugs.de/en) project ProxiDETECT.
The Cluster4Future PROXIDRUGS aims to develop innovative therapies for human diseases by targeted degradation of disease-relevant proteins within cells. The cluster pools the expertise of several local universities, scientific institutes, and major pharmaceutical companies. Within PROXIDRUGS, the ProxiDETECT project develops advanced assay technologies and imaging solutions for the identification, biophysical and phenotypic characterization of molecular glues and novel ubiquitin E3 ligase binders. For this position, we are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate with a PhD in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related field, with experience in assay development and cell biology.
