A leading university hospital in Münster is seeking a Postdoc in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. The candidate will focus on cancer immunology and work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic research environment. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in relevant fields, have a strong publication record, and possess skills in single-cell technologies. To meet our high standards every day, we are looking forward to your scientific expertise in the Kerl Lab at the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology with a focus on cancer immunology. Our group describes the cellular heterogeneity in pediatric tumors and its impact on therapy response. In this project we focus on identifying mechanisms of cellular communication between immune and tumor cells in pediatric cancer. In order to do this, we use advanced single cell based technologies, including single cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and multiplex immunohistochemistry–ideally with you on board!
