Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) seeks a postdoctoral researcher to advance all-perovskite triple-junction solar cells. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary team on material properties, device configurations, and stability, contributing to publications and new project proposals.
The role emphasizes hands-on processing, device characterization, and coordination with partners, within a fixed-term 24-month contract.
Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) conducts research on energy materials and develops next-generation photovoltaic technologies from materials to devices. The Department of Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells develops metal-halide perovskite solar cells and has achieved several world records for perovskite-silicon and perovskite-CIGS tandem solar cells. Our current research focuses on advancing all-perovskite multi-junction solar cells by investigating material properties and charge-carrier dynamics, developing new device configurations, improving operational stability, and scaling up device areas. In this postdoctoral position, you will contribute to the development of perovskite-based triple-junction solar cells. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced scientist with expertise in perovskite solar cells to join our international and multidisciplinary team.
Fixed term contract for 24 months.
The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
