To harness the power of these new technologies and accelerate digital transformation, we have created a new Clinical Data & AI Processing Department within Clinical Sciences and Operations.

The Business Analyst (BA) in Clinical Data & AI Processing is responsible for translating business insights and needs into a digital transformation strategy that bridges the gap between business objectives and AI technologies. With a sharp focus on developing AI-enabled solutions and processes, the BA works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive AI‑driven solutions, enhancing operational effectiveness and accelerating clinical development by enabling real‑time access to and interactive insight generation from clinical data.

Main responsibilities
  • Understand and elicit business requirements across the E2E patient data flow; conduct comprehensive analysis to identify transformation opportunities and develop business cases for AI‑driven solutions, including ROI assessment
  • Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future AI‑enabled states
  • Work closely with clinical data analysts and AI engineers to design the end‑to‑end real‑time data flow, including AI solutions, automated processes, data models, and integration strategies with existing systems and tools in clinical development
  • Support roadmap development and establish KPIs to measure success; track user satisfaction, business impact, and solution adoption to ensure smooth implementation and continuous optimization of AI‑driven solutions
  • Ensure AI solutions and processes comply with GCP, regulatory requirements, ethical and legal standards, including data privacy and fairness principles
About you
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing AI strategies.
  • Experience with business process modeling and project management.
  • Experience within a Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical business is preferred.
Soft and technical skills
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, preferably applied to clinical trial data.
  • Understanding of clinical development.
Education
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Life Sciences
