Job summary

Nordex is seeking a Portfolio Manager Operational Technology to provide governance and strategic oversight across OT initiatives, partnering with Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain to align investments with business goals.

You will develop dashboards and executive-ready analyses, manage the PMO portfolio, track milestones, and steer resource and budget planning to enable data-driven decisions that improve performance and value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in business/engineering or related field and PMO experience.
• Experience in portfolio management, program PMO or enabling governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the OT project portfolio including roadmap and performance tracking.
• Monitor progress, milestones, risks, budgets, and KPIs for strategic initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and decision materials to support leadership.
• Coordinate priorities across functions and align resources.
• Support portfolio governance and investment decisions for alignment with goals.
• Drive transparency on resources, budgets, and capacity.

As a Portfolio Manager Operational Technology, you provide transparency, governance, and strategic oversight across a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives. You support leadership teams in prioritizing investments, balancing resources, and ensuring successful project execution while maintaining alignment with business objectives. Acting as a key interface between Operational Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders, you play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions and driving organizational performance.

YOUR TASKS

• Manage and continuously improve the Operational Technology project and initiative portfolio, including roadmap planning, prioritization, and performance tracking
• Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, resources, budgets, and KPIs to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives
• Develop management dashboards, reports, and decision-making materials that provide transparency and support leadership decisions
• Coordinate priorities and align resources across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups
• Support governance processes, portfolio reviews, and investment decisions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Drive transparency regarding resource allocation, budget development, project performance, and organizational capacity
• Continuously improve portfolio management, reporting, and project governance standards to enhance efficiency, quality, and business value

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Project Management, or a related field
• Several years of experience in PMO, project management, program management, or portfolio management
• Experience in Operational Technology, digital transformation, industrial systems, manufacturing environments, or related industries is advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience preparing executive-level analyses, reports, and presentations
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, Excel, or similar portfolio management and reporting tools
• Good understanding of financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation processes
• Fluent English skills combined with a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset; PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable certifications are considered an advantage
