Job summary

Apple Inc. in Munich invites an internship candidate to contribute to the power management IC development within the Silicon Engineering Group.

You will develop verification components, write test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand specifications and achieve robust design. As an intern, you will gain practical experience through mentorship, learn verification methodologies, and participate in debugging sub-circuits while building strong analytical and English

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English language (both written and verbal).
• Eagerness to learn new things and take up challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Basic understanding of analog circuitry and digital design.

Responsibilities

• Develop verification components and test plans for power management ICs.
• Engage with cross functional teams to ensure feature coverage and integration.
• Analyze simulation results and debug designs.
• Write behavioral/functional models for sub-blocks and contribute to verification strategy.

Description

Through mentorship, you will develop verification components, create test plans, and engage closely with members of cross-functional disciplines to gain practical experience in building a power management IC. Your work could include: Verification of sub-circuits against specification Definition of verification plans to ensure coverage of specified features Analysis of simulation results and debugging designs Active participation in cross functional collaboration Writing behavioural/functional models for sub-blocks

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• Eagerness to learn new things and take up challenges
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Basic understanding of analog circuitry and digital design
• Fluent in English language (both written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of a scripting language
• Familiarity with Verilog / Verilog-AMS / SystemVerilog
