Job summary

Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH sucht einen erfahrenen Firmware-/FPGA-Entwickler für eingebettete Systeme in der Luft- und Raumfahrt. Sie arbeiten an PLD/FPGA-Lösungen, BSP-Definitionen und der Verifikation von sicherheitsrelevanten Systemen.

Sie arbeiten in einem interdisziplinären Team, arbeiten agil, und unterstützen die Zertifizierung durch Dokumentation, Tests und Reviews. Es erwartet Sie ein modernes Arbeitsumfeld mit Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten in einem internationalen Konzern.

Qualifications

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Elektronik oder vergleichbar.
• Erfahrung in PLD Firmware-Entwicklung im aerospace-Bereich
• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Embedded-Systems-Entwicklung
• Kenntnisse in PLD/FPGA-Verifikation ideal mit Modelsim oder RivieraPro
• Kenntnisse in RTCA DO-254 vorteilhaft
• Teamarbeit in agilen Entwicklungsumgebungen

Responsibilities

• Entwicklung von PLD/FPGA-Lösungen für eingebettete Systeme in der Luft- und Raumfahrt
• Koordination von Aufgaben zur Entwicklung komplexer Firmware mit Zertifizierungsunterstützung
• Definition, Programmierung, Inbetriebnahme und Test von BSPs für ECUs/Anwendungen
• Abstimmung von Inhalten und Zeitplänen mit relevanten Stakeholdern
• Durchführung von PLD/FPGA-Reviews zur Anforderungsanalyse und Entwurf
• Dokumentation und Kommunikation von Verifikationsergebnissen
• Entwicklung von Sicherheitskonzepten und Sicherheitsanalysen
• Erarbeitung von Teststrategien
• Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Entwicklungsteams

Job description

Create Fascination: Your Responsibilities

• Develop PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
• Perform and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex firmware applications with a wide range of functions, including support through certification
• Develop and coordinate complex firmware applications
• Implement technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architecture, electronic assemblies, and FPGA control systems
• Define, program, commission, and test Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units and/or applications
• Coordinate task content and timelines with relevant stakeholders
• Conduct PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis as well as conceptual and detailed design
• Evaluate, document, and communicate verification results
• Create, review, and assess safety concepts and safety analyses
• Develop test strategies
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams

Bring Your Strengths: Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in PLD firmware development within the aerospace industry
• Proven experience in embedded systems development
• Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and FPGA development tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)
• Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) is desirable
• Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using Modelsim or RivieraPro
• Experience in aerospace PLD/FPGA development according to RTCA DO-254 is considered an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in development teams within an agile framework
