Who are we?
The 602 Finance Systems Transformation department is responsible for overall program governance & execution of the SHAPE+ Program, a cross-divisional Finance transformation program at DHL, reporting to our Group CFO. SHAPE+ is driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processesas well as Master Data Management for Post & Parcel, DHL Express, DHL eCommerce & Group Functions through rolling out a SAP-based FINANCE template with respective system consolidations.

As Platform Lead PTP/Banking in the SHAPE+ team,
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our global SAP S/4HANA Finance platform for Procure-to-Pay (PTP) and Banking processes. Leveraging your expertise in Accounting, Invoice-to-Pay, and SAP S/4HANA Finance, you will deliver scalable, standardized solutions across our global organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Solution Governance: Own and design solutions fitting to the global PTP/ Banking template, while folding-in local deviations if legally required, in the process of implementing the template across business divisions and geographies.
- In-depth Process Knowledge: Commitment to harmonizing Accounting and Controlling processes in consultation with process teams and being a trusted advisor for ERP implementation, to other SMEs and business colleagues alike.
- Platform Advisory: Translate business and process requirements into robust techno-functional solutions, configure the ERP platform, and oversee a stable of expert implementation partners to ensure top-notch quality in an agile project environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation in your area by investigating and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and automation, while ensuring the platform evolves alongside business needs & SAP best practices.
- Leadership Mindset: Foster a collaborative, performance culture by demonstrating strong analytical and conceptual skills, resilience and an outcome-oriented approach, ensuring the success of the program.
- Additionally, knowledge in S4/HANA Material Management & MM-Inventory Management or Purchasing would be a plus – but not mandatory. Exposure to SAP BTP and CAS services, integration technologies such as REST/SOAP/oData, SAP Public Cloud projects and emerging SAP AI capabilities such as Joule 2.0 is welcomed.
Must‑haves
- University Degree in Business Informatics (or similar).
- Superior English skills (German a plus).
- Relocating to the Bonn/Cologne area, if necessary.
