Zusammenfassung

DSC SOFTWARE AG is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to actively develop and optimize our cloud infrastructure and platform services in Karlsruhe. You will work on infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps to enable scalable operations for our diverse customer base.

You will contribute to the monitoring stack with Prometheus/Grafana, manage Kubernetes clusters, and ensure secure, reliable platform services with automation and scripting in Bash or Python.

Qualifikationen

• Enthusiastic about modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform technologies.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi or similar).
• Familiar with Kubernetes administration, cluster lifecycle, networking, RBAC.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines and container tech (Docker/OCI).
• Good Linux skills; scripting with Bash or Python for automation.
• Knowledgeable in monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Good German and English language skills.

If this is your profile ...

• You are enthusiastic about modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform technologies
• You have practical experience in working with common cloud providers like AWS, MS Azure, GCP, STACKIT, Scaleway, or similar platforms
• You have sound knowledge in the area of infrastructure as code, ideally of Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools
• You are familiar with the administration of Kubernetes and you have already gained experience in the fields of cluster lifecycle, networking, and RBAC
• You are proficient in using Git, CI/CD pipelines as well as container technologies such as Docker and OCI
• You have good knowledge of Linux and use scripts with, for example, Bash or Python in order to automate processes
• You are well versed in monitoring and observability tools and have already worked with solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
• You communicate openly, enjoy working in teams, and are keen to explore new topics
• You have very good German and good English language skills

• You enable seamless development and deployment processes by continuously developing and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• You develop self-service solutions and platform services that make daily work easier for our development teams and facilitate an efficient collaboration
• You are responsible for our monitoring and observability landscape
• You ensure a reliable and stable operation of our platform and keep topics like incident management, backup strategies, and capacity planning in mind
• You actively help shape security automation and you advance our platform regarding access management, secrets management, and container security
