Dive is building a cloud-native simulation platform that enables engineers to run advanced heat and fluid simulations at scale. You will collaborate with expert engineers across disciplines on technically demanding problems, from improving solvers and algorithms in C++ and Python to building scalable cloud systems and interactive 3D experiences that help engineers explore results.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied science, or a similar field.
• 4+ years of experience in platform/back-end development.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, ArgoCD and Terraform.
• Experience developing Python applications.
• Experience with Grafana monitoring stack.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and DevOps practices.

At Dive, we are building a cloud-native, agent-native simulation platform that makes advanced heat and fluid simulation accessible to every mechanical engineer. You’ll collaborate with expert engineers across disciplines on technically demanding problems across our product stack, from developing and enhancing solvers and algorithms in C++ and Python, to building scalable cloud systems and interactive 3D experiences that help engineers explore and understand complex simulation results.

Задачи:

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, building a scalable, redundant, and secure foundation to our product
• Manage database and storage solutions to ensure terabytes of data are stored, retrieved, and maintained effectively
• Improve observability of our platform by extending metrics, logging, and tracing in collaboration with other team members
• You will develop and extend Python web services, with a strong emphasis on crafting efficient and robust business logic
• You will build durable workflows using Temporal (temporal.io) to orchestrate and manage complex processes and interactions within our application
• You will aid in the design of service architectures, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and performant

Требования:

• You have 4+ years of industry experience in platform and/or backend development
• You have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied science, or a similar educational background
• You approach complex technical challenges with critical thinking, make well-reasoned architectural decisions, and effectively prioritize work to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions
• You demonstrate proficiency with infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, ArgoCD, and Terraform
• You have experience developing python applications
• You have used and ideally implemented the Grafana monitoring stack in a project
• You communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, take ownership of your work, continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
• You thrive in an agile software development environment and embrace DevOps principles and practices
