At enovetic, we simplify and connect the administration, sales and management of a pension fund. Our service includes cross-border advice to employers and employees on occupational pensions, connecting external sales partners and building a Europe-wide sales network. As a Platform Engineer, you are part of our international, multidisciplinary team and build our internal developer platform, used daily by the product teams.
- You design, build and operate our Internal Developer Platform (IDP): Backstage as a portal, infrastructure based on Terraform modules and Helm charts, delivered via ArgoCD (GitOps).
- You gradually take responsibility for our observability stack (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo) and further develop the platform approach there too.
- You take responsibility for our development environments (Linux VMs on an on-prem Proxmox cluster), including automation and a central knowledge base for the development teams.
- You work closely with product teams, system and cloud engineering, and IT security to ensure the platform fits the underlying architectures and operational realities.
- You treat the platform as a product: feedback, usage data and adoption figures inform the roadmap and prioritization.
- You have a degree in computer science / engineering or comparable practical experience, as well as several years of experience as a Platform, DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineer.
- You are proficient with Kubernetes, Linux and tools from the CNCF ecosystem; you have already worked in production with Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD or comparable technologies.
- You are interested in platform thinking: self-service, the right level of abstraction, Golden Paths and reducing cognitive load for development teams.
- You are confident with CI/CD and common integration patterns; experience with observability tooling (Grafana LGTM stack) is preferred, but not required.
- You are interested in secure-by-default design and embedding policies in platform workflows.
- You think with a product-oriented mindset, focusing on Developer Experience (DevEx), and turn friction in developers' day-to-day work into concrete improvements.
- You speak German and English very well.
- A career start with prospects in a specialized, growing environment
- Structured onboarding and professional support
- Significant scope for learning and development
- Work-from-home options
- A collegial team with a high level of professional expertise
- Individual training and development opportunities
- Flat structures, an open first-name culture and efficient decision-making processes
- Hansefit
- You enjoy working in a hybrid setup: 2 days working from home and 3 days on site in Hildesheim – Thursday is our fixed in-office day. Fully remote work is not envisaged.
