Remotely in Munich is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise cloud platforms. The role is hybrid, with collaboration across software, architecture and security teams to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure.

You will automate infrastructure, maintain Azure-based environments, and enhance CI/CD pipelines while promoting DevOps culture and best practices across engineering teams.

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help design, build and optimise cloud infrastructure that enables development teams to deliver software quickly, securely and reliably.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys automating everything, improving developer experience, and building scalable cloud platforms using modern DevOps practices.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Developing automation tools and scripts using Python
• Supporting engineering teams with platform tooling and best practices
• Improving platform security, monitoring and reliability
• Driving DevOps culture and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Software Engineers, Architects and Security teams

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• Commercial experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Python scripting and automation skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Containerisation experience (Docker and Kubernetes desirable)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Experience working within Agile environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Azure certifications
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Kubernetes administration experience
• Security and compliance knowledge
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms
