Zusammenfassung

develop is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build and optimise cloud infrastructure that enables development teams to ship software quickly, securely and reliably.

You will automate everything, improve developer experience, and build scalable cloud platforms using modern DevOps practices with Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Platform/DevOps/Cloud Engineer.
• Commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Python scripting and automation.

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help design, build and optimise cloud infrastructure that enables development teams to deliver software quickly, securely and reliably.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys automating everything, improving developer experience, and building scalable cloud platforms using modern DevOps practices.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Developing automation tools and scripts using Python
• Supporting engineering teams with platform tooling and best practices
• Improving platform security, monitoring and reliability
• Driving DevOps culture and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with Software Engineers, Architects and Security teams

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• Commercial experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Python scripting and automation skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Containerisation experience (Docker and Kubernetes desirable)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Experience working within Agile environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Security and compliance knowledge
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms
