Job summary

Описание:

The Platform team provides centrally managed infrastructure for observability and CI/CD, as well as consulting, subject-matter expertise, and hands-on support to engineering teams. It improves developer experience to increase development efficiency and productivity at scale.

Задачи:

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes-based solutions, clusters, and supporting AWS infrastructure
• Improve the delivery of business-critical applications on Kubernetes
• Work with the security team to maintain and improve emnify’s security posture
• Continuously improve CI/CD systems and concepts to help product teams deploy applications safely and efficiently on AWS-managed services and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with product teams to implement infrastructure and services, providing insights and implementation recommendations for successful, timely project delivery
• Take part in the internal team rotation, supporting teams with day-to-day operations and challenges
• Guide infrastructure engineers in best practices for Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Research and implement new features, tools, and services across emnify’s infrastructure and tooling landscape

Требования:

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and managing Kubernetes solutions and supporting AWS infrastructure, balancing cost, performance, usability, and maintainability
• Strong Kubernetes and infrastructure troubleshooting skills, including investigating control plane, drivers, and networking components
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, monitoring, and Linux system administration
• Valid Kubernetes CKA certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical personnel
