In the Department of Molecular Toxicology in Leipzig, we invite applications for a PhD Position (f / m / x) to study the metabolic interaction within a microbiome model system, focusing on the role of transporters by cultivation and multi‑omics approaches. The project is funded within the DFG Priority Program 2474 on Novel Functions within the Microbiome. It will be conducted in close cooperation with our partner C. Kaleta in Kiel, who is an expert in metabolic modelling.

Remuneration according to the TVöD public‑sector up to pay grade 13, including attractive public‑sector social security benefits.
