Job summary

Newark Veterinary Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will handle both nonsterile and sterile compounding, assist with filling prescriptions, and help prepare shipments for customers nationwide.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and adaptable to a fast-paced setting. We welcome learners and will provide extensive training to ensure you understand every aspect of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred, not required.
• Over time, you will need to become certified while working if you are not already certified.

Job description

We are now interviewing for a dedicated Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a dynamic veterinary compounding pharmacy. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in various pharmacy operations across the entire pharmacy, including both nonsterile and sterile compounding. Your responsibilities will also encompass filling prescription orders, preparing shipments, maintaining a clean pharmacy environment, and assisting with any tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of our facility, which serves customers across the country. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment. They must also be willing to learn and grow with the company.
